Dash's Story

How the story begins

I don't know how we will ever repay Karin for the compassion and support she has shown us. She has exceeded our expectations and gone above and beyond to help our dog Dash.

When we adopted Dash, a 1.5 year old Border Collie mix he had been in the shelter for 7 months. Dash had a very rough start to life, he had been hit by a car which resulted in the loss of his right eye. When we brought Dash home he had several behavioural problems; he pulled on leash, barked at strangers, had separation anxiety, would get out of control excited. Karin used her wealth of training knowledge to train both Dash and ourselves, her patience and support were never ending.

6 months later

Today thanks to Karin Dash heels on the leash, loves to meet new people, has less separation anxiety and rarely gets over excited. Dash is a happier more confident dog and has even become more affectionate as he has learned to trust again.

Karin genuinely cared about Dash's well-being. No matter what behaviour issue Dash threw at her Karin did not give up, she always treated him with love and patience. She understood how to work with a rescue dog and I don't know what we would have done without her. From the bottom of our hearts, thank you Karin!!
